What is your theoretical approach?

I have a flexible style and am trained to help you using many types of strength-based therapies. Together, we’ll find what works best for you.

How long does therapy last?

Each person is unique and brings a variety of issues to therapy. How long you stay in therapy depends on the scope and complexity of issues addressed and your desire to continue to explore your feelings and underlying motivations.

What about medication?

When indicated, medication can be a valuable tool in addition to talk-therapy. I am qualified to help determine if you can benefit from an evaluation by a prescribing psychopharmacologist. If so, I have a trusted network of referrals.

What are your fees? Do you offer sliding scale fees or student discounts?

My fees are $120 for individuals and $150 for couples. For clients who can't afford my full fee I have a limited number of appointments available at sliding scale fees. I believe that everyone deserves high quality therapy that doesn't create financial hardship. In addition, I have a limited number of scholarships available for full-time students.

Do you accept insurance?

I am an in-network provider for several insurance plans. Other plans may reimburse a percentage of the cost for an out of network therapist. I will be happy to provide an invoice that can be submitted to your carrier for reimbursement.

Where are you located?

My office is located at 915 Broadway (between 20th and 21st Streets), convenient to all major subway lines.
